DENVER: Responding to a new poll today from Keating Research showing far-right Rep. Lauren Boebert losing to Democratic candidate Adam Frisch in a head-to-head matchup 50-48%, ProgressNow Colorado, the state’s largest multi-issue progressive advocacy organization, released the following statement:

“In 2022, Rep. Lauren Boebert’s weakness in a district conservatives should not have to worry about shocked the nation, and it has only gotten worse since last November,” said ProgressNow Colorado executive director Sara Loflin. “Instead of changing course to put the needs of her constituents first, Boebert has alienated her own Republican leadership while falsely taking credit for projects to help Coloradans she voted against. The voters of the Third District have seen enough, and this poll shows that a crucial 50% have already made up their minds.”

“Boebert’s low favorability combined with high name recognition in these new poll numbers show that the voters know who Boebert is, and they are sick and tired of her out-of-touch antics,” said Loflin. “Lauren Boebert came within 546 votes of early retirement last November, and is entering 2024 as the most vulnerable Republican in Congress. In a conservative-leaning district that shouldn’t be in play, Lauren Boebert is now firmly on a trajectory to lose next November with no one to blame but herself.”
