DENVER – One day after Citizens United released its film trailer for “Rocky Mountain Heist,” ProgressNow Colorado Education and Common Cause Education Fund have launched, a website dedicated to exposing the truth about Citizens United and how citizens can fight back against corporate money in politics.

“In 2012, 74% of Colorado voters said that they wanted to stop big money from dominating politics with the passage of Amendment 65,” said Elena Nunez, Executive Director of Colorado Common Cause. “As the flood of special interest money continues to pour into Colorado, voters can have their voices heard by voting in this election.”

“Citizens United is responsible for the flood of corporate money that has inundated Colorado voters this election year,” said Amy Runyon-Harms, Executive Director of ProgressNow Colorado Education. “Fortunately, corporations still can’t vote, and on Election Day a billionaire’s vote counts the same as anyone else’s. The only thing that can stop groups like Citizens United are real citizens making sure they vote by November 4.”
